HALLOWEEN IS HERE

We have prepared some Halloween activities: a story, a powerpoint, games, door decorations, some crafts, songs and more.

We love to tell stories, wear spooky costumes, and trick or treat for delicious candy! In class we have learnt about how English kids celebrate Halloween. We have acted out different characters and costumes to incorporate the holiday into our classrooms.

WINNIE THE WITCH BY Valerie Thomas and illustrated by Korky Paul

Winnie the Witch lives in a black house. She has black chairs and black stairs, black floors and black doors. The trouble is that Winnie's cat, Wilbur, is also black. After sitting on him and tripping over him, Winnie decides to turn Wilbur into a green cat. But then he goes out into the long grass! Winnie is going to need a little magic to make sure she can always see Wilbur . . . A beautifully-crafted story with a colourful final twist.
